Really enjoyed this piece, and felt quite desperate for the hapless writer caught in the white void that is OMM. I also read that article by Joel Friedlander a week ago, but find that I prefer to be connected when I write. In fact I write best in front of the television, while checking Twitter and simultaneously being connected to the Internet and checking my mail. It's called multitasking. Something that is impossible on the planet OMM. By the way, congrats on that wonderful review for "Waiting for orders". Ah Alain, the master of satire.
